Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.
This verse seems particularly poignant to me this week, and I feel the need to share it with anyone who passes through this blog. But in all honesty these lines should not be separated from the whole, a magnificent and powerful statement of life and death. Please do silence the area around you and clear your mind of clutter. Then click here, and again on the “PLAY” button, and listen to the whole poem as Dylan Thomas intended, in his own voice.
R.I.P Dylan Thomas, 9 November 1953.
