Čumil, the sewer worker of Bratislava, peers out of his manhole at Panská 251/1.
“Man at Work”, or perhaps “Čumil the Peeper”, by the Bratislava native Viktor Hulík, was unveiled 26 June 1997 in the pedestrian zone in Bratislava’s old city center.
His manhole cover is plainer than this one, which seems more official, or perhaps newer:
