This honeybee (Apis mellifera) likes the white clover (Trifolium repens) rampant in our lawn. White clover is not native to the United States, and some people think of it as an invasive weed. But it feeds the honeybees and enriches the soil with nitrogen where it grows.
I love the smell of clover in the lawn when the sun hits and warms it. The bee is nice, too.
